The jungler joined the legendary organization in April 2019 on his Academy list. He then made his LCS debut in August for the 2019 Summer Split playoffs after having only two days to train with the team. TSM however failed to make it to the 2019 World Championship after losing to Clutch Gaming in the regional glove.
The promotion of Spica comes two weeks after TSM’s support, Biofrost, accidentally disclosed the movement. During a Twitch broadcast, Biofrost opened a Discord group including all of the current players on the team, including Spica. The Discord group message logs asked the team to be available for a quick meeting to discuss health and nutrition with the players. TSM Officially Promoted Spica To Starting Roster For 2020 League Championship Series Summer Split
TSM said goodbye to its Spring Split jungler, Dardoch, who announced that he joined Dignitas the same day yesterday. Dardoch’s departure from the team came after TSM President Leena Xu said that “nobody [wanted to] pick up” the 22-year-old when the Doublelift aired on May 11.
Although Dardoch did not have the biggest split, he was a reliable jungle, so it is surprising that TSM decided to replace him right after a split. It is surprising that TSM continues to replace its members after a single split. With this progress, it is unlikely that we will be able to see TSM participate in international tournaments, because other teams keep their members and develop them instead of expelling them after a separation. It is interesting to see how TSM will fare after all this drama in LCS Summer Split, given the hatred of the community. With the separation in a month, we may also be able to see the cooking of the other teams, so stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
